Hello Everyone, I just spoke with my Daughter in Southern Illinois and she is getting hit pretty hard with the reminits of Ike. Here in Northwest Indiana in Cedar Lake we do have some flooding of yards.. Take a look at the pics.. and I hear we are not done yet..

Hello I am going to tell a story about a business in our town and how sucessfull it has been over decades of time. In Cedar Lake we have a Tire Shop called TJT Tire. This business has been around for over 35 years. One of the employees that has worked at the shop for 35 years is now retireing from there.
Some of you may know that Cedar Lake was a very small town until about 5 years ago and it started growing and we still are!

My feelings on this is that this is a great accomplishment for this Tire Shop. Family owned and they are paying for this mans retirement. Now that my dear folks is Success. Congradulations to the owner of TJT Tire. What a Great Job you have done serving this community..Your employee will be missed.

The big question is, What shape are you in with  your home.
The first person they spoke with was employed!!!, well I will leave that for last!!
She had a job making 141,000 a year. She often transfers with her job from place to place. She bought a home 3 years ago for 720,000 dollars  (Interest Only Loan).......
The Kicker of this story is this. Her Job,,She worked for Freddie Mac. She no longer is employed.

Now we know why we are in the shape we are in!!

Hello Everyone Well today is the Game of all Games. Indiana Colts vs, Chicago Bears with the Season Opener. Oh and yes my husband will be there for sure. This is a big day in my household. But I do want to mention one thing. Many of the business here in Indiana need to remember where they live. IN INDIANA FOOLS NOT CHICAGO. So if you live in Indaina than you should be rooting for your home team.
Just in case many of you do not know. Chicago is in ILLINOIS. NOT INDIANA. So Go COLTS.
