I believe it is for soldering. The jar hold kerosene or some other flammable, and you adjust the flame with the knob on the end.
Bob
Hello Bob you are very close, Can you tell me what kind of fuel this uses. It does not take karosene
I'm gonna have to go with Bob's guess. I think he's right - the air holes at the top look like they could be useful for something with flame.
Paula, I would have to assume it is some kind of oil as anything more refined then kerosene would seem to dangerious (and I'm not aware of a lota grandpas with their hands blown off from this tool)
Bob
no it is not an oil, not karosene, keep guessing
Tomorrow's tool will be much harder to figure out..
Aloha.
Im thinking it is a smoker for bees. It allows those little critters to calm down
This Tool is a Old Fashion Torch, which was fueled by white gas. What you don't see is on the other side of this tool is a pump for the fuel. They used this in the old days for warming metal or anything they needed to bend or torch for whatever reason. Thank you for Playing our game. Name that tool
We will be playing tomorrow night as well. I am warning you it is a hard one tomorrow..
Have a Great Nights Sleep Everyone.. Paula
