maybe some kind of fuse? Looks like it has mini radiator coils on it, yeah I know not to smart of a guess but a guess nonetheless! Intrigued! Hmmmmmmmm
I'm intrigued as well. Not sure what I would guess but I know my husband would suggest that it's something he would use to put in my mouth when I'm about to say the wrong thing! LOL I will check back for the answer! ~ Anne Marie
light bulb or a small heater......
Sean Allen
We have a good guess going here. But I am not going to reveal it yet... Keep guessing folks
It's an early electric heatimg element. It would be screwed into a reflector, just like a light bulb. In fact they're interchangeable, if you like fires!
I first saw them used to keep newly hatched chicks warm.
I wouldn't try it!
Bill
It definitely looks like it goes into a light socket...but not exactly what it would be used for...
You are correct William. and IFS you both got it. I did not know what this was when I first saw this. The person that gave it to me had to explain to me what it was.. I will tell you it was used many years ago on a regular basis..
ok Are we Ready to play One more Time folks...??????
Is it a "light socket HEATER"??? It definitely has one side like a light socker socket, and the coil on the other side tells me it's a Heater. Am I right? Is it one of the "original" heat lamps" ???
;>)
This might be pretty hard folks
Paula, I had no clue but had to read to through the comments to satisfy my curiosity. Thanks for the insignificant knowledge.
Looks like a meat saw to me.
Bill
We used to call them "hack saws" where I grew up. The heater above I would have guessed some sort of burner, which would have been close.
Oh. I saw the title of this post and thought we were talking about which agents we had worked with that were "tools". =P LOL! I was wondering how I could choose only one.
Wow, that is a good one, I will have to go to my Dad's, he is an active tool collecter and pull out his most oddest one.
